View dependency information (MDB)
Note The information in this topic applies only to a Microsoft Access database (.mdb).
You can view dependency information for an open object, or an object that is selected in the Database window.
Tracking name AutoCorrect information must be turned on to view dependency information. The dependency information is generated only for tables, queries, forms, and reports in an Access database. It is not available for the following - Access projects, data access pages, macros and modules in a database, and objects not supported by the name AutoCorrect feature, such as action queries and SQL-specific queries, including union queries, data-definition queries, pass-through queries, and subqueries. Dependency information is also not available if you don't have permissions to open an object in Design view.
- In the View menu, click Object Dependencies.
The dependency pane shows the list of objects that use the selected object.
- To view the list of objects that are being used by the selected object, click Objects that I depend on on top of the pane.

- To view dependency information for an object listed in the pane, simply click on the expand icon (+) next to it.
Note Hidden objects will not be listed, unless the Hidden Objects option on the View tab in the Options dialog box is selected.
