About South Asian databases
All South Asian databases in Microsoft Access share the following feature.
File compatibility Access can open databases created in earlier versions of Access; however, in order to display South Asian text correctly, the applicable South Asian language must be enabled.
Note Databases converted from Access 97 that have Thai date formats may not display correctly in Access 2000 or later versions.
