Vary alignment within a single line of text

  1. Switch to print layout view or Web layout view.
  2. Start a new line of text.
  3. On the new line, do one of the following:

    ShowTo insert left-aligned text

    Move the I-beam pointer to the left margin until you see the Align Left icon Align Left icon. Double-click, and then start typing your text.

    ShowTo insert center-aligned text

    Move the I-beam pointer until you see the Center icon Center icon. Double-click, and then start typing your text.

    ShowTo insert right-aligned text

    Move the I-beam pointer until you see the Align Right icon Align Right icon. Double-click, and then start typing your text.
