Create a bulleted or numbered list

If you are using a theme, the Plain Bullets tab is unavailable.

  1. In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design Button image.
  2. Place the insertion point where you want to create a list.
  3. On the Format menu, click Bullets and Numbering.
  4. Do one of the following:

ShowCreate a bulleted list

  1. Click the Plain Bullets tab, click the box with the bullets you want to use, and then click OK.

  2. Type text next to the bullet, and then press ENTER.
  3. To end the list, press ENTER again.

ShowCreate a bulleted list using pictures

  1. Click the Picture Bullets tab, and then click Specify picture.
  2. Locate and click the graphic file that you want to use as a bullet, click Open, and then click OK.
  3. Type text next to the bullet, and then press ENTER.
  4. To end the list, press ENTER again.

Note  When you save the Web page, if the graphic file you used for the custom bullet is not in the current Web site, Microsoft FrontPage will prompt you to save it to the current Web site in GIF or JPEG format.

ShowCreate a numbered list

  1. Click the Numbers tab, click the style of numbers or letters you want to use, and then click OK.
  2. Type text next to the bullet, and then press ENTER.
  3. To end the list, press ENTER again.
