Set the properties of a banner ad

This procedure applies only to a banner ad that you created by using the Banner Ad Manager in an earlier version of Microsoft FrontPage.

  1. In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design Button image.
  2. Right-click the banner ad, and then click Banner Ad Manager Properties on the shortcut menu.
  3. Do any of the following:
    • In the Width box, type the width of the banner ad in pixels or percentage.
    • In the Height box, type the height of the banner ad in plxels or percentage.
    • In the Transition effect list, click the effect you want to use when the banner ad switches from one picture to another.
    • In the Show each picture for (seconds) box, type a value that specifies how many seconds to show each picture.
    • In the Link to box, type the URL of the Web page or file you want to open when a site visitor clicks the banner ad.
    • To select pictures to display in the banner ad, click Add, and then locate and click the file you want.

      The list in the Pictures to display box shows the pictures you've added and the sequence in which the pictures will be displayed.

    • To move a picture up in the display sequence, click the URL of the picture in the list, and then click Move Up.
    • To move a picture down in the display sequence, click the URL of the picture in the list, and then click Move Down.
    • To remove a picture from the banner ad, click the URL of the picture in the list, and then click Remove.
