Copy content to cells in adjacent rows or columns
- In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design
. - Place the insertion point in the cell with the content you want to copy.
- Do one or both of the following:
Copy content from one cell to an adjacent row of cells
- Select that cell, and then drag the cursor to the right across the adjacent cells in the row.
- On the Table menu, point to Fill, and then click Right.
Copy content from one cell to adjacent cells within a column
- Select that cell, and then drag the cursor down over the adjacent cells within the same column.
- On the Table menu, point to Fill, and then click Down.
