Add a line break within a paragraph

  • In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design Button image.
  • Place the insertion point where you want to insert a line break.
  • On the Insert menu, click Break.
  • Click Normal line break.

    To view line break and paragraph marks, click Show All Button image.
