Format a line

  • To change the color or style of a line, select the line, and then do one or both of the following:

    • Change the color or pattern of a line

    1. On the Drawing toolbar, click the arrow next to Line Color (Auto) .
    2. Do one of the following:

      Select a standard color

      • Under Standard Colors, select a color.

      Select from more colors

      • Click More Line Colors and click the color you want.

      Mix custom colors

      • Click More Line Colors and click Custom, then create the color you want.

      Select a pattern with color

      1. Click Patterned Lines.
      2. Select a pattern, and then select colors for the foreground and background.

    Change the style of a line

    1. On the Drawing toolbar, click Line Style .
    2. Do one of the following:
      • Click the style you want.
      • Click More Lines, and then choose the attributes you want for your line style.
