Hide a Web page

If you do not want site visitors to see certain pages in a Web site, you can hide these pages by placing them in the hidden folder _private. This folder is contained in every FrontPage Web site based on FrontPage Server Extensions, SharePoint Team Services v1.0 from Microsoft, or Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services.

1. In the Folders List, select the files for the Web pages you want to hide.

   How?

   • Hold down CTRL, and click the pages you want to select.

   To display the Folders List, on the View menu, click Folder List.

2. Drag the selected file to the _private folder.
