Remove numbers or bullets from a list

1. In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design .
2. Select the items in the list.
3. On the Format menu, click Bullets and Numbering.
4. Do one of the following:
   • If the list uses bullets, on the Plain Bullets tab, click the box with no bullets.
   • If the list uses numbers or letters, on the Numbers tab, click the box with no numbering.
   • If the list uses picture bullets, on the Picture Bullets tab, in the Specify pictures box, clear the file name.
