Change the filters applied to a Data View

  1. Open a page that contains a Data View.
  2. In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design Button image.
  3. In the Data View Details task pane, click Filter.
  4. In the Filter Criteria dialog box, do one or more of the following:

    ShowAdd a new clause

    1. Click Click here to add a new clause.
    2. Click the Field name box for the active row, and then select the field that contains the values you want.
    3. Click the Comparison box, and then select the type of comparison you want.
    4. Click the Value box, and then type or select the option you want.
    5. Click Advanced if you want to edit the XPath predicate for the filter query. The Advanced button is only available if your data source is an XML file.

    ShowEdit a clause

    1. Click an existing clause.
    2. Click the Field name box for the active row, and then select the field that contains the values you want.
    3. Click the Comparison box, and then select the type of comparison you want.
    4. Click the Value box, and then type or select the option you want.
    5. Click Advanced if you want to edit the XPath predicate for the filter query.

    ShowDelete a clause

    • Click the clause you want, and then press DELETE.
  5. Click OK.
