- In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design .
- On the Format menu, click Theme.
- In the Theme task pane, point to No theme, click the arrow, and then click Apply to selected page(s).
Remove a theme from selected pages in a Web site
- In Folders view, select the pages you want.
- On the View menu, click Folders, and then on the Web Site tab, select multiple pages by holding down the CTRL key and clicking the pages you want to select.
- On the Format menu, click Theme.
- In the Theme task pane, point to No theme, click the arrow, and then click Apply to selected page(s).
Remove a theme from all pages in a Web site
- On the Format menu, click Theme.
- In the Theme task pane, point to No theme, click the arrow, and then click Apply as default theme.
Note When you remove a theme from all pages in a Web site, only those pages that were using the default theme are affected. If certain pages use a different theme, you must remove each of their themes individually.
