Change the status of a task

Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003

  1. On the View menu, click Tasks.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To start working on a task that is not associated with a file, right-click the task, and then click Edit Task on the shortcut menu.
    • To start working on a task that is associated with a file, right-click the task, and then click Start Task on the shortcut menu.

    Notes

    • When you start a task that is associated with a Web page, Microsoft FrontPage opens that page in Page view.
    • When you start a task that is associated with another type of file, the file is opened in its associated editor. For example, Microsoft Office Word 2003 is the associated editor for .doc files.

ShowMark a task as completed

  1. On the View menu, click Tasks.
  2. Right-click the task you want to mark as completed, and then click Mark Complete on the shortcut menu.

ShowMark a task as completed while editing an associated Web page

  • When you start a task that is associated with editing a Web page, the first time you save the page in Page view, Microsoft FrontPage prompts you to mark the task as completed. Click Yes.
