Change the color scheme of a theme

  1. In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design Button image.
  2. On the Format menu, click Theme.
  3. In the Theme task pane, point to the thumbnail for the theme you want to change, and then click the arrow.
  4. Click Customize, and then click Colors.
  5. Next to Theme color set, specify whether you want to change colors in the normal or vivid color set.
  6. Do one of the following:

    ShowChoose a preset color scheme

    • Select the color scheme you want to use, and then click OK.

    ShowCreate a new color scheme

    • Create a custom color scheme you want to use, and then click OK.
  7. Click Save As to save the changed theme.
  8. Type a new name for the theme (unless you have modified a custom theme), and then click OK.

    Note  When you change a preset theme, you must save your changes as a new theme.
