Apply a theme

  1. In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design Button image.
  2. Do one of the following:

    ShowApply a theme to the current page

    1. On the Format menu, click Theme.
    2. In the Theme task pane, click the theme you want.

    Note  After you apply a theme to the current page, the page no longer uses the default theme setting of the Web site (if there is one). Therefore, any theme changes you apply to the Web site will not affect this page.

    ShowApply a theme to selected pages

    1. In Folders view, select the pages you want.

      ShowHow?

      • On the View menu, click Folders, and then on the Web Site tab, select multiple pages by holding down the CTRL key and clicking the pages you want.
    2. On the Format menu, click Theme.
    3. In the Theme task pane, click the theme you want to apply.

    Note  If you apply theme settings to individual pages, these pages no longer use the default theme setting of the Web site (if there is one). Therefore, any theme changes you apply to the Web site will not affect these pages.

    ShowApply a theme to a Web site

    1. On the Format menu, click Theme.
    2. In the Theme task pane, point to the thumbnail for the theme you want to apply, and then click the arrow.
    3. Click Apply as default theme.

    Note  When you apply a theme to an entire Web site, Microsoft FrontPage will display a warning indicating that you are setting the default theme for that site.
