    1. In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design Button image.
    2. Double-click the link bar.
    3. Under Hyperlinks to add to page, click the hyperlink options that you want to display, and then click OK.

Note  If you specify hyperlinks that are not in the navigation tree, a link bar will not be displayed on the page.

    ShowExclude a page

    1. In Navigation view, right-click the page that you want to exclude.
    2. Click Included in Link Bars on the shortcut menu.

Note  All child-level pages under the excluded page will also be excluded by default. If you do not want this setting to affect a child-level page, right-click the child-level page, and then click Included in Link Bars on the shortcut menu.

ShowEdit a link on a custom link bar or a link bar with back and next links

  1. In Page view, double-click the link bar.
  2. Do one or more of the following:
    • To add more links to the link bar, click Add link.
    • To delete a link from a link bar, click the link, and then click Remove link.
    • To change the URL or the display text of a link, click Modify link.
    • To change the order of the links on a link bar, in the Links list, click the link, and then click Move up or Move down.
