Add the date and time for a specific language

  • On the View menu, click Header and Footer, and then do one of the following:

    ShowTo add the date and time to your slides

    1. Click the Slide tab, and then click Update automatically.

    2. In the Language box, select the language you want to use, and in the Calendar type box, select the calendar you want to use. Some languages have only one calendar choice available.
    3. Under Update automatically, select the date and time format you want from the list, and then click Apply to add the information to the current slide, or click Apply to All to add the information to all the slides in your presentation.

    ShowTo add the date and time to your notes and handouts

    1. Click the Notes and Handouts tab, and then click Update automatically.

    2. In the Language box, select the language you want to use, and in the Calendar type box, select the calendar you want to use. Some languages have only one calendar choice available.
    3. Under Update automatically, select the date and time format you want from the list, and then click Apply to All.

ShowAdd the date and time anywhere on a slide

  1. On the slide, position the insertion point in the text box or placeholder where you want to add the date and time.
  2. On the Insert menu, click Date and Time.
  3. In the Language box, select the language you want to use, and in the Calendar type box, select the calendar you want to use. Some languages have only one calendar choice available.
  4. In the Available formats box, select the date and time format you want to use.
