Create a macro for an ActiveX control

Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003

  • On the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click Control Toolbox.
  • Select the ActiveX control you want to create a macro for, and then in the Control Toolbox, click View Code Button image.
  • In Microsoft Visual Basic Editor, write a new macro or change the existing macro.
  • When you finish writing the macro, on the File menu, click Close and Return to Microsoft PowerPoint.

    ShowTip

    If you're designing a form for use on a Web page rather than in Microsoft PowerPoint or a Microsoft Visual Basic program, use a Web script instead of a macro to automate the control.
