Use ink to edit slides

You must be running Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 on a Tablet PC to use this feature.

You must be in Normal, Notes Page, or Master view to use ink to edit slides.

  1. Open the presentation to the slide where you want to write with your tablet pen.
  2. If the Ink Drawing and Writing toolbar is not visible, tap Ink Drawing and Writing on the Insert menu.
  3. On the Ink Drawing and Writing toolbar, tap the arrow next to pen name Button image , where pen name describes the color and type of pen, such as Felt Tip (Blue).
  4. Select a pen.
  5. Write or draw anywhere on the slide.

ShowTip

To stop using ink on your slide, tap Stop Inking on the Ink Drawing and Writing toolbar. To begin using ink again, select a pen.

Note  Ink drawing and writing becomes a permanent part of your presentation and can be changed only in Normal, Notes Page, or Master view.
