You must have a Tablet PC to use the ink drawing and writing feature in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003.
Do one of the following:
- On the Insert menu, tap Ink Annotations.
- On the View menu, tap Toolbars, and then tap Ink Annotations or Ink Drawing and Writing.
- Tap the ink on the slide and the corresponding ink toolbar will appear.
If you are using a desktop or laptop computer
You can make ink notes on your slides during a presentation by using your mouse to write.
- In Slide Show view, if the Slide Show toolbar is not visible, rest the pointer on the slide.
If the Slide Show toolbar is still not visible, click Options on the Tools menu, click the View tab, and then select the Show popup toolbar check box.
- On the Slide Show toolbar, click the pointer arrow, and then click Ballpoint Pen or Felt Tip Pen.
- Write on the slide with the mouse.
I can't show or hide some of my ink markup in Slide Show view.
To print ink annotations:
- On the File menu, click or tap Print.
- Select the Print comments and ink markup check box.
I can't see the Slide Show toolbar in the lower left corner in Slide Show view.
- In Slide Show view, if the Slide Show toolbar is not visible, rest the pointer on the slide.
If the popup toolbar is still not visible, click Options on the Tools menu, click the View tab, and then select the Show popup toolbar check box.
I can't use ink in Slide Show view.
You are probably in a show type that is not supported by Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003. The only supported show type is Presented by a speaker (full screen). To switch to this show type, tap Set Up Show on the Slide Show menu.
I closed the Ink toolbar, and now I can't get it back.
If you are using a Tablet PC, do one of the following:
- To display an ink toolbar, tap the ink.
- On the View menu, tap Toolbars, and then tap Ink Annotations or Ink Drawing and Writing.
