Install and run the PowerPoint Viewer

1. Do one of the following:

   Install the Microsoft Office PowerPoint Viewer directly from the Web site

   1. Go to the Microsoft Office Online Web site, and follow the Microsoft PowerPoint links that direct you to downloads.
   2. Click to download the PowerPoint Viewer, and follow the instructions for installing.

   Package your presentation and the PowerPoint Viewer by using the Package for CD feature

   1. In Microsoft PowerPoint, open the presentation you want to package.
   2. On the File menu, click Package for CD.
   3. In the Package for CD dialog box, click Options, and then select the options you want.

   Note  The PowerPoint Viewer is included by default when you use the Package for CD feature.

2. To run the PowerPoint Viewer, in Microsoft Windows Explorer, go to the folder where you packaged the PowerPoint Viewer.
3. Double-click the PowerPoint Viewer file, Pptview.exe, to open it.
4. Click the presentation you want to run or browse to it, if necessary, and then click Open.
