In the case that you mistakenly delete a specific smart tag, you can contact your Information Technology (IT) professional or do the following:
- Navigate to directory: drive\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Smart Tags\Exceptions
- Right-click Ignore.xml, and open the file using Notepad.
- Browse through the file until you find the entry for the smart tag data that is mistakenly not recognized and delete all text starting with the first <ST:item> before it, and ending with the next </ST:item> after it (including the tags).
