Change the starting slide number

If you want slide numbering to begin with your second slide and not your title slide and you want the starting number to be 1, in the Page Setup dialog, select 0 as the starting number. On the View menu, click Header and Footer, click the Slide tab, make sure the Slide number check box is selected, and then select the Don't show on title slide check box. Click Apply to All.
