About Japanese grammar checking
If you are not using the Japanese version of Microsoft Office, then this feature is only available if you have installed the Office 2003 Multilingual User Interface Pack or Office 2003 Proofing Tools for Japanese. In addition, you must enable support for Japanese through Microsoft Office Language Settings.
Office PowerPoint 2003 allows you to check the grammar of Japanese text in a multilingual presentation. PowerPoint identifies poorly formed or incorrectly converted Japanese text strings in your presentation with a wavy, red underline.
When you check Japanese grammar, PowerPoint stops at each grammatical error in your presentation, identifies the error, and provides suggestions for correcting the error.
