Align, center, or justify a paragraph

  1. On the slide, select the paragraphs you want to align, center, or justify.

    ShowHow?

    • To select a single paragraph, click the paragraph.
    • To select all the paragraphs in a list, either drag to select all the text, or select the placeholder by clicking the text inside it, and then clicking the border.
  2. Do one of the following:

    ShowAlign or center a paragraph

    • On the Formatting toolbar, click Align Left Button image, Align Right Button image, or Center Button image.

    ShowJustify a paragraph

    • On the Format menu, point to Alignment, and then click Justify.

ShowTip

You can also select text on the Outline tab in normal view and change the paragraph alignment. The effect appears on the slide.
