Verify Listener is Active

To verify that the Listener job is running, use the following command:

WRKACTJOB and look for your listener subsystem.

If you wish to changethe listener or create a different listener instance, copy the existing objects for the listener and change them.

You should see these three items in the Work Active Job display:

Subsystem created in the install:	by default, the program library name
A TP (Transaction job):	started by the Listener job e.g. TP000000001
