Step 2. Create LANSAWORK Job Queue

From an IBM i command entry (CALL QCMD), use the CRTJOBQ command.

Press F4 to prompt the Create Job Queue command.

Enter:

Library:

QGPL - where most job queues are created by default.

Job queue:

LANSAWORK - suggested default.

Text description:

LANSA FOR THE WEB SUBSYSTEM QUEUE - suggested naming convention.

 

The command should appear as follows:

CRTJOBQ JOBQ(QGPL/LANSAWORK) TEXT('LANSA FOR THE WEB SUBSYSTEM QUEUE')

 

The name of the job queue must match the Router Job Subsystem name defined in Step 4. Configure IBM i Web Server in the Configure LANSA for the Web on a Multi-tier IBM i Web Server task.
