2.1.5 Upgrade LANSA for i Installations
When executing the LANSA IBM i software installation, the upgrade option will automatically appear on the installation program menu if any LANSA software components are detected on the IBM i.
This easy to use upgrade facility will list all LANSA Systems and LANSA Software Components detected. You may select a single system or component for upgrade.
If your LANSA for i includes LANSA for the Web software, the LANSA for the Web software is automatically updated.
Once you have upgraded the LANSA IBM i software, you should upgrade any associated LANSA Windows software.
If you wish to add new software components (refer to 2.1.3 Custom LANSA for i Installations), it is recommended that you upgrade your existing system before you install the new components.
