3.2.2 Call the Installation Program
1. Sign on to the IBM i as either QSECOFR or a profile in the QSECOFR group. The QSECOFR profile is recommended.
2. Insert the LANSA IBM i Software DVD or the first CD-ROM into the IBM i drive.
3. From an IBM i command line (CALL QCMD), execute the following command:
LODRUN DEV(*OPT)
The LANSA will be displayed.
4. Specify the name of the job queue and library to which the actual installation job is to be submitted. The default value is job queue QBATCH in library QGPL. If this is not valid at your installation, change it to the name required.
5. Enter 2 to select Custom Install and press or F3 to exit.
2. Insert the LANSA Integrator CD-ROM into the IBM i CD-ROM drive.
