Can developers or users be using the system during the upgrade?
No. Developers and end users cannot use the LANSA for i or LANSA for the Web applications during the installation/upgrade. There must be no LANSA jobs running during the upgrade and no other LANSA jobs running on other LANSA systems on the same machine.
Note: "Developers" and "end users" also include the LANSA Listener and Java Service Manager.
