2.2.4 LANSA for the Web Requirements
Following is a summary of the software requirements for using LANSA for the Web:
- The correct version of the LANSA IBM i Product software.
- Licenses for the components and options being installed.
- IBM actively supported version of the IBM i Operating System. Refer to the Supported Platforms and Versions document, for supported platforms/software compatibility.
- TCP/IP correctly configured.
- Internet browser with JavaScript enabled. See the Supported Platforms and Versions document for a list of the supported browsers.
Web Server Software Requirements
IBM HTTP Server powered by Apache for CGI.
The Web serving software must be configured and running before attempting to use LANSA for the Web. A quick test is to attempt to load the home page, using http://<as400address>/.
