How long will the installation or upgrade take?
The time for the installation and upgrade will vary depending upon the number of software components installed. If installing LANSA for the Web, it will also vary depending upon the type of Web Server and installation model.
As a general rule:
- A LANSA for i system can be installed in less than one hour.
- Allow at least 2-3 hours for the installation and configuration of LANSA for the Web.
If you are not familiar with the HTTP Web Serving software and its configuration, allow more time.
Developers and end users cannot be using the LANSA system during the installation/upgrade.
