4. Upgrade LANSA on IBM i
Optional step: If you have an existing LANSA system that uses the QGPL library for many LANSA objects, you may wish to upgrade your system configuration to use a communication library other than QGPL. Refer to 4.4 LANSA Communications Library for more details.
If you are upgrading an existing LANSA system (including any of LANSA for i, LANSA for the Web, LANSA Integrator, and Open System Utilities), complete the following task:

If you are upgrading a Multi-tier LANSA for the Web system, you must also complete the following task on the IBM i Web Server:
