LANSA for the Web - Parameters
If you have selected the LANSA for the Web - Complete Web Install, the Parameter screen will be displayed. Check that the installation parameters, especially the
and that will be used during the installation are correct.If you are also installing LANSA for i, then the parameters that have already been specified for LANSA for i (
, & ) will not be displayed.LANSA Program Library
If this field is displayed, the name of the LANSA program library used when LANSA for i was installed. This library must already exist.
Web Interface
The default value is 1 (for CGI).
HTTP Server
The default is 1 (IBM HTTP server powered by Apache) and it cannot be changed.
HTTP Instance Name
The name that is used by the HTTP instance. This name should be unique amongst all HTTP instances. If you need to change this name, refer to Appendix C. Change the HTTP Install Instance.
Web Instance Port
The port number used by the Web jobs. The default is 80.
Web Monitor Job Queue
The job queue that is used by Web Monitor job. The default is [your specified library prefix]WEBJQ.
Web Jobs Job Queue
The job queue that is used by Web jobs. [your specified library prefix]WEBJQ.
Web Work Library
The name of the library into which the working objects used by LANSA for the Web will be stored. The Web Work Library will be used at run time by LANSA for the Web applications. The default is [your specified library prefix]WRKLIB. The library will be created by the installation.
Note: Do not use Q as the first character of the library prefix as it is used by IBM namespace of Qxxxxx
Development Language
The development language to be used with this LANSA for i system.
Web Image Path
The full path and name for the Image Directory. The Image Directory is used to store the image files used by the LANSA for the Web applications. This default directory will be created if it does not exist. If you do not use the default, the directories in the path name must already exist.
