5.3.1 Before You Begin Checklist
Before you begin to enter LANSA License codes, check the following:
- Do you have the QSECOFR password or access to the LANSA Product Owner user profile? You will require one of these profiles to execute the LANSA license program.
- Do you know the name of the LANSA program library for the LANSA system (<pgmlib>)?
- Does the new license xml file contain all of the required CPU specific license codes for the installed LANSA products? (Refer to 5.5 License Code List.)
- Have you copied the new license xml file to the IBM i IFS?
