4.2.2 Start the Web Server upgrade
Insert the LANSA IBM i Software DVD or first CD-ROM into the relevant drive of the IBM i Web Server.
From an IBM i command line (CALL QCMD), enter the following command to restore the software:
LODRUN DEV(*OPT)
The LANSA screen will appear.
The Upgrade option is only available if the program finds a LANSA component.
Specify the name of the Job Queue and library to which the actual upgrade job is to be submitted. The default value is job queue QBATCH in library QGPL. If this is not valid at your installation, change it to the name required.
Note: The upgrade will create a new LANSA Root Directory. It is recommended that you use the default directory.
Enter 4 to select the Upgrade and press or F3 to exit.
