Operator Message Script Suggestions

An Operator Recording Script is used in the circumstance when the Operator is preparing what to say in the Operator Overflow, Fire/Emergency, Break, Day Message and Night Message. These Recordings are called Auto Attendant Messages.

Operator Overflow Message.

"Welcome to … (Company Name)…

Our Operator is attending to another call at present

Please continue holding and your call will be answered as soon as possible.

Thank you"

OR

"Welcome to … (Company Name)…

Our Operator is attending to another call at present

If you know the extension number of the person you require please dial it now,

For a Staff Directory Press (1)

Or please continue holding and your call will be answered as soon as possible. Thank you"

Operator Break Message.

"Welcome to … (Company Name)…

Unfortunately our Operator is unable to attend to your call at present

If you know the extension number of the person you require please dial it now,

For a Staff Directory Press (1)

Or please hold to leave a message which we will respond to, at the earliest

opportunity. Thank you"

Fire/Emergency Message.

"Welcome to … (Company Name)…

Unfortunately we cannot attend to your call at present, as we are experiencing a situation that has required us to exit the building. However, please leave your Name, Contact details and a brief message after the tone and we will contact you as soon as we can. Thank you"

OR

"Welcome to … (Company Name)…

Unfortunately we cannot attend to your call at present, as we are experiencing a situation that has required us to exit the building. However, if you want to leave us a message please press (1) now and you will be able to record your Name, Contact details and a brief outline of your requirements and we will contact you at the earliest opportunity. Thank you."
