Advanced Search

The advanced search accepts a query syntax which is entered into the search criteria itself. So you can specify which columns to search and for what criteria.  Using the Advanced search query will override the column(s) which has been selected to search on.

The syntax of is this is field=value.  Each field/value pair is separated by a semicolon.

Below are some examples of  an Advanced Search.

Search for anyone whose first name starts with J and Surname starts with M

FN=J;SN=M

Search for anyone in the accounts department

D=Account

Search for a Technician in Sydney

Pos=Tech;Reg=Syd
