Leaving a voicemail message as the operator
If you (as the operator) wish to leave voicemail for an extension, you can skip the extension's greeting and voicemail prompts and proceed directly to recording your message.
- Click on the VM>> Button.
- Click on the DSS key corresponding to the extension for whom which you wish leave a message. You will hear a short beep.
- Begin speaking your message.
- Hang up when you have spoken your message.
Note: This function should only be used when you as the operator wish to leave a message. Because no prompts are given, the function should not be used to allow callers to leave voicemail messages for extensions - use the Vmail button or Record button for this purpose instead.
