Releasing a Call Automatically (Blind Transfer)
To eliminate having to click the Release button after each call, set IPFX Console to Release (Auto). This will allow you to Answer a call, transfer to an extension and automatically release the caller to that extension.
To enable automatic release:
- Right-click on the Release button.
- The text on the release button will now read Release (Auto).
Repeat the process to set the Release button back to Manual Release.
Note: If the button reads Release, the Console is set to manual release. If the button reads Release (Auto) the Console is set to automatic release.
Ensure that the Console is set to manual release when transferring callers to an external number.
