Function Key Responses:
Function keys may be programmed with any of the following functions:
- Answer: Answers an incoming call.
- Busy: Answers calls which have been forwarded to operators from a busy extension.
- Cancel: Cancels a call being dialed from the keyboard.
- Conference: Sets up a conference call between several parties.
- Dial Previous: Re-dials the last number dialed.
- Hold: Places a call on hold.
- Hold For: Places a call on hold and marks the call for a particular extension. When the extension becomes available, the call is delivered automatically.
- Hold Announcement: Places a call on Hold and marks the call for a particular extension. The call remains on hold until recalled by the operator.
- Join: Joins two calls together.
- LDN 1 to 8: Answers a Line Display Number
- No Answer: Answers calls which have been forwarded to operators from a non-answering extension.
- Operator: Answers calls which have been dialled directly to the operator number: '0' in New Zealand, '9' in Australia.
- Park: Places a call on a park, from where it can be retrieved from another extension.
- Pick up: Answers a call ringing on another extension.
- Release: Releases a transferred call.
- Release Auto/Manual): Toggles between Automatic and Manual release mode.
- Retrieve Last: Retrieves a transferred call, provided the call has not been answered.
- Search DSS: Displays the console DSS keys; the equivalent of clicking the View DSS Keys button in the toolbar.
- Search Extn: Displays the internal directory, sorted by extension number; the equivalent of clicking on the Search Extension Directory by Extension button in the toolbar.
- Search External: Displays the company directory; the equivalent of clicking on the Search Company Directory button in the toolbar.
- Search FN: Displays the internal directory, sorted by first name; the equivalent of clicking on the Search Extension Directory by First Name button in the toolbar.
- Search SN: Displays the internal directory, sorted by surname; the equivalent of clicking on the Search Extension Directory by Surname button in the toolbar.
- Src/Dest: Toggles between two callers. PBX Dependent Feature!
- Toll Override: Allows the operator to connect an extensions to a toll-barred number.
- Transfer: Transfers a call to another extension.
