Accessing the After Hours/Operators Mailbox
If your company allows after hours callers to leave a message, their recording will be left in the Operator/After Hours Mailbox. If there are new voicemail messages, an envelope will appear in the Letterbox icon advising you of new mail. By Default the Mailbox number will be 0# unless specified. To access these messages:
On the IPFX Console:
- Click on the Letterbox icon on the top tool bar.
- Voicemail will now prompt you for a voicemail password, which you need to enter on the telephone.
OR:
Using your Phone:
- Dial your company's voicemail Access Number.
(E.g. 51 then follow the instructions as given by voicemail).
Note If you have your own voicemail Box and you need to access the Operator Mailbox from your phone, dial your company's voicemail Access Number (eg: 51), then press the * key and enter the Operators extension number (eg: 0) and the # key. Now follow the instructions given by voicemail.
