CALibration:VALue

Syntax

CALibration:VALue <value>

CALibration:VALue?

Description

This command specifies the value of the known calibration signal as outlined in the calibration procedures in the Agilent 34980A Service Guide. This command is used for internal DMM calibrations.

For a more detailed discussion of the calibration procedures, see the Agilent 34980A Service Guide. Please refer to that guide before attempting to calibrate the instrument as improper use of the CALibration commands can adversely affect the accuracy and reliability of the instrument.

Return Format

The query command returns the calibration value in the form "+1.00000000E-01".

Examples

The following command sets calibration value to +10.001010 volts.  

CAL:VAL 10.001010

The following query returns the present calibration value.

CAL:VAL?

Typical Response:  +1.00010100E+01
