CALibration:VALue
Syntax
CALibration:VALue <value>
CALibration:VALue?
Description
This command specifies the value of the known calibration signal as outlined in the calibration procedures in the Agilent 34980A Service Guide. This command is used for internal DMM calibrations.
For a more detailed discussion of the calibration procedures, see the Agilent 34980A Service Guide. Please refer to that guide before attempting to calibrate the instrument as improper use of the CALibration commands can adversely affect the accuracy and reliability of the instrument. |

Remarks
The internal DMM is an optional assembly for the Agilent 34980A. An error is generated if the internal DMM is disabled (see INSTrument:DMM[:STATe] command) or not installed in the mainframe.
To calibrate the 34951A Isolated DAC Module, use the CALibration:MODule? command.
To calibrate the DAC channels on the 34952A Multifunction Module, use the CALibration:BEGin[:VOLTage] and CALibration:POINt? commands.
Return Format
The query command returns the calibration value in the form "+1.00000000E-01".
Examples
The following command sets calibration value to +10.001010 volts.
CAL:VAL 10.001010
The following query returns the present calibration value.
CAL:VAL?
Typical Response: +1.00010100E+01
