Changes in Inventory Control 5.4

The most important additions made to Inventory Control 5.4 were the following:

• Multiple-level bills of material.

• New inventory pricing features, including pricing by weight.

• Weight units of measure for inventory items.

• Customer item numbers.

• An items wizard to simplify the process of adding new items to inventory.

• Physical and logical inventory locations.

• Several new inventory reports.

• The ability to choose the information that you want to transfer to General Ledger in the description, reference, and comment fields of General Ledger transactions arising from Order Entry transactions.
