Printing the Slow Moving Items Report
The Slow Moving Items report lists items that are not selling well, according to the criteria you select when you print the report.
The Slow Moving Items report uses data from the Sales Statistics form to make its calculations. You must use the Keep Item Statistics option in order to use the report. The settings you choose in the Accumulate By and Period Type options will determine the dates the report uses to make its calculations.

Before printing
Run Day End Processing if you want to include the latest costing information in the report.
When to print
Print the report to identify problem items.
To print the Slow Moving Items report

Double-click the Slow Moving Items icon in the Stock Control Reports folder.

Make your selections in the following fields:
Sort by. Specify the order in which to list item records.
From [ ] To [ ]. Specify the range of item numbers, categories, segments, or optional field entries to include in the report.
Include Items with. Specify a criterion for items to include in your report.

To begin printing, click the Print button.
If you are printing to a printer, Inventory Control displays the Print Destination form to let you confirm your printer selection and change the number of copies to print. Click OK if the settings are correct; otherwise, click Cancel or Setup.
If you are printing to a file, Inventory Control displays the name of the file, so you can change it or cancel printing.
If you are printing to the screen (preview), Inventory Control displays the report. You can then export it to a file or send it to the printer.
