New and Enhanced Inventory Reports for Version 5.4
New Transfer Slip
The new transfer slip can be printed when transfers are posted at a shipping location, and is designed to accompany goods to the receiving location (either carried by the driver or attached to the goods by way of a clear packing envelope or window envelope).
The transfer slip includes a column where receivers can check whether the goods received (quantities and item numbers) match the goods as stated on the transfer slip. The slip also includes shipping and receiving location information, including contact names and phone numbers, so shippers, receivers and carriers can easily see who they should contact if problems arise at any point during the transfer.
You can also print the transfer slip using the Transfer Slip form in the I/C Stock Control Reports folder.
New Inventory Movement Report
The Inventory Movement report is a new report that displays the Inventory Control items that were received into stock and shipped out of stock for the period specified by users.
New Aged Inventory Report
The Aged Inventory report is a new report that displays the Inventory Control items into three aging periods specified by users. The report shows items quantities and costs for each period. The costs of the items are calculated depending on items costing methods. The following is an example of the report for three different costing methods:
The aging periods on the I/C Options form are used by default on the Aged Inventory report, but you can change them at print time.
Enhanced Markup Analysis Report
In version 5.4, the Item Pricing form changed to let users enter the Base Price for multiple units of measure, and the Markup Analysis report has changed to display the Base Price for each unit of measure specified for the item.
Enhanced Selling Price and Margin Analysis Report
The Selling Price and Margin Analysis report has been changed to:
-
Handle base prices for multiple units of measure.
-
Be more logically arranged.
For example, the Cost Unit of Measure now appears between the Unit Cost and Margin Type fields instead of under the Unit Cost field, and the Pricing Unit (Base Weigh Unit) now appears between the Base Price and Margin % fields instead of under the Base Price field.
Enhanced Item Pricing Report
The 5.4 version of the Item Pricing report supports:
-
Pricing by quantity or weight.
-
Pricing by a single or multiple units of measure.
If there are several base costs for multiple units of measure, discounts or markups are calculated for each unit of measure that has a base price.
-
Pricing by a cost plus a percentage or a fixed amount (variable price, calculated for every new order).
The report also identifies the price check method for each item, if any has been selected for items on the Price List form (such as comparing the price with the cost of an item or with a sales margin, and assigning the price check to particular Sage ERP Accpac users).
Enhanced Performance for the Transaction History Report
This report is significantly faster in version 5.4.
