Printing the Location Details Report

The Location Details report lists information for items at each location where you allow the items to be stocked.

For more information on the contents of this report, see Location Details — Features.

Before printing

Run Day End Processing if you want to include the latest costing information in the report (if you cost items during Day End Processing).

When to print

Print the report before and after using the Location Details form to add or remove items from locations, or to change location detail records.

To print the Location Details report

  1. Choose File, Print from the Location Details form, or double-click the Location Details report icon in the Setup Reports folder.

  2. Make your selections in the following fields:

Sort by. Specify the order in which to list location detail records.

From [ ] to [ ]. Specify the range of item numbers or locations to include in the report.

Item Number/Location From [ ] To [ ]. Select a range of items or locations to include in the report.

Print. Set your record selection criterion.

  1. To begin printing, click the Print button.

If you are printing to a printer, Inventory Control displays the Print Destination dialog box to let you confirm your printer selection and change the number of copies to print. Click OK if the settings are correct; otherwise, click Cancel or Setup.

If you are printing to a file, Inventory Control displays the name of the file, so you can change it or cancel printing.

If you are printing to the screen (preview), Inventory Control displays the report. You can then export it to a file or send it to the printer.
