[27 Pressure propagation

If a force F acts on an area A of an enclosed liquid, a pressure p is produced which acts throughout the liquid (Pascal's Law).

Hydrostatic pressure has been ignored here. The term pressure propagation is also used to mean the pulse velocity in liquids (approx. 1000 m/s).
