7. Tracing Applications
Visual LANSA provides a tracing feature that you can embed in your own RDML applications.
Tracing must be designed and integrated into your application during development with the inclusion of tracing statements in your RDML code at critical points of the application processing.
Use tracing as an alternative approach to debugging. It is especially useful for analyzing problems in deployed applications as a switch mechanism can be built into your application to allow end users to activate the tracing without any technical knowledge of the application.
