Adding Current Sales and Return Statistics

Double-click the Sales Statistics icon in the Statistics and Inquiries folder.

Enter an item number or use the Finder to select the item number, then select the location and year for which you want to add or edit sales statistics.

Select the statistical period for which you want to add or edit sales statistics.
You specify the desired type of statistical period using the Period Type option on the Processing tab of the Options form.

Click the Go button (or press F7). This prepares the remaining fields for the sales data.

Enter the number of items sold and returned (in stocking units), the number of sales and return transactions posted, the amount of sales and returns (in functional currency if you use multicurrency accounting), and the cost of goods sold and returned (in functional currency if you use multicurrency accounting).

To delete statistics for a period, choose Delete. If a message appears asking you to confirm the deletion, click Yes.

Click Save or Add.

Repeat steps 2 through 6 for each item and period for which you want to add sales and returns statistics.

Click Close to close the form.
